I'm ready to go home.

While this summer has been wonderful, I'm so ready to go home. I think my house needs me.

Things I can't wait to get home for:
My own comfy bed
Not having to share a bathroom with my disgusting boys.
Having counter space in my kitchen.
My garage, so I don't have to cram my minivan into parking spaces not designed for it.
Getting back into a routine. I need it more than anyone else, I think.

Things that I will miss about D.C.:
The water pressure. Sure, it's strong enough to injure a small child, but it feels good on sore muscles.
The pool. It was great when we really didn't have anything to do. Plus, I don't think I've been this tan in a long time.
Public Transportation. Riding the metro was actually kinda fun. The only bad thing was the creepy guy sucking his thumb and talking to himself. He was actually the only weird person we saw on all of our rides.
Being within walking distance of a lot of stuff, like the library.
Cable television.
