Today was a great day...so far

I was really dreading going to class this morning. So much so, that I was literally nauseous driving there. The reason being, I was getting my first exam back. When I finished my exam on Tuesday, I was not pleased. I completely blanked on one problem, didn't even attempt it.
So, today my professor comes in and gives a long speech about how badly the class did. There were no A's, and only 4 people got above a C. He decides to have us retake the test next week. But, since only 4 people passed, those people don't have to take it, and he will give them an extra 10 points just for not taking it. I was so relieved. I knew I had bombed the test. I was so thankful for a second chance. Well, I get it back and guess what? I got a 78. I was one of the 4! So, by not taking the test again I get an 88. Not bad for an old lady. Yeah me!!
