I love it! I love coming out in the mornings to sit on the deck and just enjoy listening to the birds. The hummingbirds fly right by me every morning on their way to the bird feeder. I love it that we have a 2+ acre lot to serve as a buffer between our neighbors and the kids and the dog have that much room to run around in. Just being outside without feeling like i've walked into an oven is wonderful! I love having a lake that's only a few minutes away and the water isn't brown! I love seeing deer on our drives even if they poop in my yard and eat my trees during the night. It's awesome to have an eagle's nest about a mile from the house that we drive by every day on our way into town. I think there must be a baby in it because an adult is always perched on it. Yeah, I get to drive "into town." I even love saying that!
In a few months my love for this place may be gone, but for now, I'm soaking it all in!
