Graduations

Both Chantz and Jaycee had big graduations this year. Chantz from 5th grade and Jaycee from Kindergarten. They really make a production out of it. 

 I had horrible seats for both of them, but at least I could see Chantz during his. He had planned to wear his suit all year, and started the day off with it all on.  By the time graduation hit that afternoon, he was no longer wearing the jacket, and his shirt was untucked.  I should have gotten a picture of him that morning. :)

 He's off to middle school next year! I wanted a picture with his diploma, but apparently they were just props, so we get his saftey patrol award instead.

My seat was worse for Jaycee's program and it didn't help at all that some kind people decided to stand up the entire time in the front right where my little girl was standing. I didn't even get to see her the first two songs. I finally had to go to the very back of the gym and stand at the top of the bleachers to be able to see her.

Her teacher sent a note home a couple weeks prior saying that the kids were supposed to wear jeans and a red, white, or blue shirt. Jaycee insisted she could wear a dress. I told her the note said she wasn't supposed to wear a dress. I told her that unless her teacher sent a note home stating otherwise, she was going to wear jeans. Well, she came home the day before with a note that she could wear a red, white, or blue dress if she wanted. We had to go shopping that night. The little stinker.
