We escaped from Edmond and took a little overnight trip to Great Wolf Lodge in Grapevine, TX. We checked in on Memorial Day and stayed overnight. We were able to get several hours at the indoor water park which everyone loved! The big bucket at the top of the fort fills up with water and then dumps it about every 30 minutes. A siren goes off right before it's about to dump. Chantz would take off from wherever we were to stand under it when the water dropped.
Mike convinced Jaycee that she wouldn't drown if she went down these water slides. So she finally agreed to try it. She loved it! After she realized her life jacket wouldn't let her sink, she enjoyed "swimming" too!
The source of my whiplash! At least that's my diagnosis. One of the slides makes a drop into this funnel. The ride is called the "howlin' tornado". My last trip down with Mike, water
slammed into the back of my neck and then my head slammed back to the the tube. My neck and back have been killing me ever since. I'm just glad my injury happened at the end of our time there and not the beginning. Even though I'm paying for it now, it was a lot of fun!

But, instead she decided to pretend to have brain freeze.
Just a cute picture of Jaycee and Chantz on a bear outside the bakery.

Looks like you all had a great time. Love building those memories.
