We left last Friday on our journey to Pocatello. Jaycee did surprisingly well (no temper tantrums) and she slept A LOT, which is very unusual for her. That made the drive so much easier. We made it just passed Denver on Friday. For the last hour of the drive, Jaycee kept saying "oh, my butt, my butt hurts, Mommy find me a cold bed. A cold bed will make my butt feel better." We finally found her a cold bed and she was out like a light!
The next day we drove into Salt Lake to visit with Scott and Connie. They were having a watch party with their Real groupies so we went to that. I thought Chantz would really like it since he loves to play soccer, but he was pretty bored. It was my lucky night, I won two tickets to the next home game! Not that I could use them, but it's pretty awesome to win something anyway.
We stayed with Scott and Connie Saturday night and left about noon for Pocatello. And, here we are!
We've made it to Blackfoot once to visit Mike's family. His nephew, Stevie is a funny kid. We were sitting next to each other on the couch and he asked me where "him" was. I said, "who Chantz?" "No." "Cameron?" "No, him." "Mike?" "Yeah, Mike, where is him?" I guess that means Mike needs to come home more often so his family will remember his name!
