Meet Moe

Saturday afternoon, the boys wanted to go to PetSmart to price lizards and tortoises. (Mom, remember what happened the last time I took my boys to a pet store to "just look?" The last time it was hamsters.)

We walked in the door and it happened to be adoption day. Of course, they are right there at the front so you can't avoid them. They had some cute little puppies and some big dogs, and then at the end of the row was Moe. He was so adorable with his short little legs. I must have been extremely vulnerable, because the kids just had to say please, and the next thing you know I was filling out the paperwork.

He's such a sweet boy. He's a 1 year old lab/corgi mix, so he looks like a lab but with really short legs. He was already named Moe, and we thought it suited him. We couldn't decide on a last name for him given the plethora we have at our disposal. So, Jaycee decided he should have his own last name, Hawk. So that's his official name, Moe Hawk. He's really taken to Cameron, which doesn't surprise me, and he's even won Mike over.
