Goodbyes

The husband of one of Mike's colleagues passed away last night from a sudden illness. I thought my own grieving was over and then something like this happens and it brings all those pent up feelings rushing back.
It's hard to understand how someone so good and kind can no longer be on this earth. I did not know him well, but both he and his wife were the most genuinely kind people I have ever met. It really makes you realize how short life is and not take the people you love for granted. My heart truly aches for her. He will be missed.
