Thanksgiving was nice. We were invited to another resident's house for dinner. The good thing, I didn't have to cook. The bad thing, no leftover turkey. Chantz and their daughter got along really well. Jaycee says they love each other and they were kissing. He says it wasn't true, but we still had to tease him a little about that.
I always get a little home sick this time of year. Thanksgiving has always been the family getting together, talking, and playing games. Plus my mom is a great cook, and she makes awesome pie. Although it sounds like Bryan has taken over the cooking the last couple of years. I haven't had my mom's pie in 4 years! I can't wait for the day when we can actually go home for the holidays. Not just for the pie, I kinda like my family sometimes too.

I agree Thanksgiving is always better at mom's. Oh and thank you, my house is gorgeous isn't it? We are frequently featured in Pottery Barn, Real Simple, Better Homes and Gardens and Charlynn's Fantasy Land.
You're not a moron! I forget that not everyone who reads our blog knows what our house really looks like. I'm just flattered that you would think I could decorate something so beautifully. No, our actual tree wouldn't be worthy of being featured in the Thrifty Nickel.
I miss the family on Thanksgiving too. We went to Brandon and Melinda's house this year, it was really nice and reminded me of all the times when all of our extended family got together for thanksgiving. FUN TIMES! Glad you ended up having a good holiday.
