First Day of School

So yesterday was the big day. Cameron started his first day of high school, Chantz is a big 5th grader and Jaycee started kindergarten. I have zero kids in my house until about 3:30. What to do with my time? :)
Since we live within a mile of his school, he's a walker now. Which means, on early band practice mornings, we get to drive him. After his first day of full band practice, he's decided it is hard. He told me when I picked him up yesterday after practice that he decided football was not so hard anymore. Every time they mess up, they have to do push ups. I'm guessing Cameron had to do a lot. Now I know why band counts as a P.E. credit.
Chantz was pretty excited to start school. He wasn't excited about having to sit next to his little sister on the bus. I told him that was his job as a big brother to protect his little sister. He decided it was okay since it was only for a few minutes. When he got off the bus after school, the first thing he said was "well I learned what my teacher's voice sounded like because all she did was talk."
Jaycee gets to go to all day kindergarten and she loves it. When she woke up in the morning she wanted to hurry and get ready so she wouldn't miss the bus. She refused to let me drive her to school yesterday. She was going to ride the bus. We're kinda lucky that our bus stop is right across the street from our house. When she saw it turning onto our street she started jumping up and down yelling, "the bus! the bus!" She was so cute. I know she had a good time, when they got home she came running off the bus singing. Chantz said she was singing the whole way home.

That's so cute! Your kids are adorable/cool. (I can't call a 5th grader and high schooler adorable so I stuck that in there) What instrument is Cameron playing?
